New Vice Chair of SIGOMA elected

At the SIGOMA annual general meeting held on 3 July Councillor Wasim Ali was elected Vice Chairman.

Cllr Ali who represents the Smethwick Ward of Sandwell Council as well as being a Cabinet member on the council said " It is vital to get the voice of our municipal authorities heard in Westminster, Whitehall and within the Local Government Association and to make the public aware of the immense financial pressures we are under"
